Do you IM?
I use the following three:
- MSN Messenger (for work mainly)
- ICQ (I Seek You)
- YIM (Yahoo Instant Messenger)

You forgot about AIM
I've used ICQ in the past, it's not too bad, haven't used it in a long time, although I do have a 5 digit ICQ number.. yup, that's a LONG time ago.
My primary IM now is MSN IM. 6.2 rocks, I don't have many problems with it. I also use Y!Pager, which is ok, but I find it has a lot of useless features, and takes up far too much ram for an IM client. I was actually very surprised it took up more than MSN, but seems to be the case.
